Daughters Songs – An Original Artwork

This exquisite floral artwork, originating from 25th January 1905, was originally crafted by Flemish weavers Felix Vanoutryve, renowned for their prominent upholstery fabric manufacture in Belgium. Serving as a template for textile weaving, designers meticulously painted this piece using gouache, embellishing it with intricate maker’s marks and grids. Its purpose was to be transformed into luxurious tapestry fabrics for furnishing and enhancing interior spaces.

To preserve its beauty, this artwork has been beautifully framed in aubergine painted wood by FRMD.
