Pocket Springs Individual springs are wrapped in a fabric pocket and then glued or stitched together. By connecting the fabric pockets together but not the individual springs, it allows for free movement of the springs. Strutted Headboard A traditional type of headboard uses struts. This type of headboard attaches to the bed via two or more struts that extend downwards from the headboard. Generally, they do not touch the floor the headboard attaches to the bed using headboard bolts.
